Florida Gov. fear zika "disaster"

The Governor of the US state of Florida is warning of a potential "disaster" caused by the zika virus.

The state is already dealing with scores of cases, including nearly 40 pregnant woman who are known to be infected.

And as Steve Mort reports, with wet weather on the way that number is expected to rise.

FIFA Payouts and Police Raids

Three of Fifa's former top officials, including ex-President Sepp Blatter, paid themselves more than $80 million (79 million Swiss francs) over the past five years.

JP Morgan warns over potential Brexit job losses

US jobs data hits five-year low

The US economy added just 38,000 new jobs in May, the worst figure for
five years.

Former FIFA heads paid themselves $80m in bonuses say lawyers

Lawyers at global's governing body FIFA say three former senior officials including ex-president Sepp Blatter paid themselves bonuses worth at least 80 million dollars.

Sentencing date set for paedophile Richard Huckle

A date for the sentencing of a British child abuser to committed crimes against Malaysian children has been set by a court in London

UN plans humanitarian air drops in Syria if land deliveries keep failing

The UN plans to air drop humanitarian supplies desperately needed by Syrians stranded in besieged and remote areas, as access by land continues to be restricted.


But the process is moving very slowly, and may not happen without the approval of the Syrian government.
