Russia accuse Turkey of backing extremist groups in Syria

Russia's Foreign Ministry has accused Turkey of slowing down the peace
process in Syria by backing extremist groups in the country.

This comes after Turkey said Russia was responsible for carrying out
airstrikes this week in Idlib Province which killed at least 23
people.

UK jobs at risk as high-street-chain BHS set to be liquidated

Up 11,000 jobs are at risk in the UK after it was announced the British department store BHS is to go into liquidation.

This comes after efforts to find a buyer for the high-street-chain failed, after it went into administration back in April.

Ukrainian official urges EU to extend Russian sanctions

A senior Ukrainian official has urged the European Union to extend
sanctions on Russia when they meet at the end of June.

The EU put sanctions on Russia following the annexation of Crimea in
2014 but Moscow has accused other nations of creating instability in

UK Labour Leader gives pro-Europe speech

According to recent polls, Russians see the United States, Ukraine and
Turkey as enemies of their country. Relations with the West got
strained after Russia was hit by sanctions for annexing the Crimean
peninsula in 2014 and supporting anti-government rebels in eastern
