UK TO SEND EXTRA SUPPORT FOR LIBYA
London 2012 Athletes Fail Doping Re-tests
Athletes from six different countries who competed in the London 2012 Olympics have failed retrospective doping tests, according to the International Olympic Committee.
The retests were carried out using the latest scientific methods on samples from the 2008 Beijing Games and from the 2012 London Games.

Ahead of Putin’s Greece visit G7 agree to extend Russia sactions in June
The group of seven countries with leading economies comprised of Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom known as the G7, have agreed that international sanctions imposed on Russia should be extended beyond June. The UN envoy for Syria says there are no immediate plans to resume peace talks over the next few weeks as violence persists on the ground.
