Arguments over civilian casualties in Afghanistan

It's been claimed that a US airstrike in Afghanistan has killed more than a dozen civilians. But a conflicting local report claims that the casualties were enemy combatants. John Bevir (Beaver) reports from Washington.

Panama papers: Government promises to boost transparency

Panama's government has announced they will create a committee of experts to recommend ways to boost financial transparency.

This comes after the leak of the "Panama Papers," 11.5 million documents that reveal how the law firm Mossack Fonseca helped some clients evade taxes and avoid sanctions.

Vladimir Putin rejects corruption allegations

Rare copy of Shakespeare's First Folio found on Scottish island

A rare copy of the first collected edition of plays by British playwright William Shakespeare, has been discovered in a stately home on a Scottish Island.

The First Folio published in 1623, contains copies of some of the playwright's best-known plays, and is thought to be one of most sought-after books in the world.

New US Treasury rules in response to "Panama Papers" details

Banks will soon be required to seek the identities of individuals
holding shell-company accounts.

That's in line with regulations set to be implemented by the United

Belgian Prosecutors Plea for Info

Belgian prosecutors are pleading for the public's help to identify a man seen with two of the suicide bombers before the March 22nd Brussels attacks.

The man was at Brussels' Zaventem Airport while the two suicide bombers detonated themselves and he remains on the run.

At least 200 Americans are named in the Panama papers, as media organizations continued to delve into 11 million leaked documents.

The documents were from Mossack Fonesca, a Panamanian law firm specializing in off-shore corporation registration.

US condemns Boko Haram kidnap of Nigerian schoolgirls as 2-year anniv. nears

It almost two years since Boko Haram fighters stormed a school in Chibok, Nigeria kidnapping 276 girls - while some escaped over 200 are still missing.
