Top Russian diplomat confirmed a possible plan for ceasefire in Syria is to be discussed in Geneva on Friday. The agreement to implement a "cessation of hostilities" was agreed on by the United States and Russia at an International Security Conference in Munich last week. Donald Trump has hit back after Pope Francis suggested that the Republican front-runner cannot be considered a real Christian because of his position on immgration.
Speaking at the end of an official visit to Mexico, the Pope told reporters that anyone who wants to "build walls" between countries isn't honoring the teachings of the Christian faith.

Uganda's electoral body has extended voting time in some areas around the capital and its suburbs.
Violence erupted after angry voters demanded to know why there were delays in arrival of voting materials for hours.
Chaos broke out in some parts of the capital Kampala after hours of waiting in queues.
Voting materials were not delivered on time, delaying the voting process for over 6 hours in some polling stations.
Voters in affected areas are disappointed with the electoral process.
There were reports that angry voters attacked polling assistants and tore ballot papers.
Police fired tear-gas to disperse crowds.
The electoral commission has apologized for the mishap and regrets the delay…..It has now extended polling time to 15GMT from 13GMT.
There is no confirmation whether this will affect the time when results will be announced.
Results were expected within 48 hours after polling closes.
The Kremlin says no date was set for shipping of a Russian missile defense system to Iran quoting contractual complications. Earlier Russian media reported the first dispatch of the S-300 system was expected on Thursday. Julia Lyubova reports from Moscow.
