IMF Downgrades Global Growth Forecasts

The International Monetary Fund is warning that global growth could be further derailed in 2016.

The Fund has downgraded its GDP forecasts by 0.2 percent for the next two years, citing risks related to China and lower energy prices.

Mother of Paris attack victim sues Belgium

The mother of a French lawyer murdered at the Bataclan concert hall in
Paris has sued Belgium for negligence, for failing to stop the
attackers from planning their assault there.

Russia demands $2.5bln from Ukraine for unused gas

UN reveals "staggering" Iraqi death toll

UK to supply 3500 first aid kits to Ukrainian Armed Forces

The UK is to send 3-thousand 500 first aid kits to Ukraine's Armed Forces as it faces a "chronic shortage" of basic equipment...

British Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said the kits will be given as a gift following a specific request for assistance in alleviating medical casualties.

MPs say UK should have acted sooner on ebola outbreak

CHINA'S ECONOMIC GROWTH SLOWS TO 25 YR LOW

China's economic growth has slowed to its lowest rate in 25 years, according to official figures.

The Chinese economy expanded 6.9% in 2015, according to authorities, down from 7.3% the previous year, and below the government's target.

Global stock markets have been volatile in recent weeks - partly as a result of concern about China's economy.

Terror suspect arrested in Morocco identified

Moroccan police have identified the Belgian man they arrested
yesterday over links to the Paris attacks as Gelel Attar.
The 26 year old is known to be a close friend of Abdelhamid Abaaoud -

Hostages released from Iran recover in US military hospital in Germany

Three Iranian-Americans who had been held hostage in Iran have arrived at a US military base in Germany after being released in a prisoner swap.

They've met family members and US officials.

American, Iraqi authorities search for three reportedly abducted US contractors
