UN Secretary General optimistic after Paris Agreement

On the heels of Climate Change summit, COP21, the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has called the Paris agreement a victory. 

With nearly 200 countries as signatories, the agreement is being lauded for its multilateral diplomacy. 

Speaking to reporters at UN Headquarters in New York, Ban Ki-moon was optimistic on the commitment the international community is taking to curb climate change.

Obama hints at willingness to visit Cuba

U.S. President Barack Obama says he hopes to visit Cuba before he leaves the White House in January 2017.


The President said he would travel to the island provided there are further democratic changes there.

Trump takes solid national poll-lead into Vegas debate

In Australia, a radicalised Melbourne teenager who had bomb-making materials under his bed has admitted preparing for a terrorist act.
