Terror Threat Level Raised to Highest Level in Brussels

Brussels is on high alert as Belgium's crisis center warns the threat of a terrorist attack is serious and potentially imminent.

But despite the warning, Belgium officials are telling the public to remain calm.

UN Security Council unanimously adopts anti-ISIL resolution

The United Nations Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution that calls on members to take all necessary steps to fight ISIL.

The vote, drafted by France, comes exactly a week to the day since the Paris attacks.

Gyro-copter pilot pleads guilty to Washington DC stunt

A Florida man is pleading guilty after he was charged over landing a gyro-copter on Capitol Hill last year.  

Douglas Hughes agreed to a reduced charge of operating an aircraft without the proper certificate.

Volvo And Microsoft Team Up To Make Driverless Cars

Volvo has struck a deal with Microsoft to develop driverless vehicles,
and to give potential cary buyers an interactive shopping experience
using a virtual reality headset. The firms announced Friday they would

Apology for women tricked into long-term relationships by undercover police

London's Met Police Service has issued an "unreserved apology" for what is describes as the "totally unacceptable" behaviour of a number of undercover police officers who tricked women into long term relationships...

A day after Burundi ordered Belgians to leave the country, Uganda says it is willing to take in foreign nationals fleeing violence 

The Burundi government accuses its former colonial power of having ties with opposition groups.

Belgium had earlier warned its citizens to leave the nation 

Uganda's foreign ministry says negotiations are scheduled to take place in Uganda's capital Kampala soon.

Violence broke out in Burundi in April this year when President Pierri Nkuruinziza announced his bid for an unconstitutional third term in office.

He went ahead to win a controversial election that led to fresh violence, sending people fleeing to neighboring countries.
