UK SIGNS MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR TRADE DEALS WITH INDIA

Britain has signed a series of trade deals with India on what is being described as an 'historic' visit to the UK by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron says around $15bn worth of business deals with India will be sealed over the course of his trip.

But Mr Modi will also meet with the Queen, and attend a rally at Wembley Stadium for around 70 000 people, as our UK correspondent Olly Barratt reports.

UN Security Council adopts resolution condemning Burundi fighting

The United Nations has adopted a resolution condemning the fighting in Burundi and calling for an end to the violence

It also threatens sanctions against those behind the violence, as it considers deploying peacekeepers to the country.

US-Venezuelan relations take another hit

There's been no formal response from the Venezuelan government to the arrest of two relatives of the country's first lady at the request of American authorities.

The nephews of President Nicolas Maduro's wife were arrested in Haiti and sent to the United States, where they face drug smuggling charges.

As Malcolm Brown reports from the Venezuelan capital, the incident is just the latest source of tension between the two countries.

Arrests in bid to break up jihadist network linked to Norway-based terrorist

13 people have been arrested in raids across Europe in an-Italian led operation to crack down on a suspect jihadist network.

Six people were arrested in Italy, four in Britain and three in Norway. Police say a further four suspects may have escaped by travelling to Syria or Iraq.
