US launching new push on Syria

The Obama administration appears to be launching a fresh military and diplomatic push to find a solution to the Syria crisis.

But with plenty criticism available, and reluctant partners, many are unconvinced, that the White House has a fresh strategy.

GOP Candidates attack, hoping to gain support

The fourth Republican candidates debate was marked by a lot of factual talk about the economy and taxes, and then they turned on each other.

Ben Carson and Donald Trump continue to lead in the polls, with many political experts baffled as to why the presumed front-runner Jeb Bush is doing so poorly.

In Milwaukee, Jeb Bush made it clear, he thinks Donald Trump doesn't know what he's talking about on foreign policy.

Trade, defence on the agenda at fourth GOP debate

Trade deals and American defence spending got the Republican candidates going at their fourth debate, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The debate was hosted by the Wall Street Journal and Fox Business News, and focused primarily on economic issues, such as the minimum wage.

Donald Trump, leading in several polls, launched into a tirade about China's manipulation of it's currency and how the Trans Pacific Partnership does not address currency manipulation.

Rival Rand Paul pointed out his error:

Struggling candidates try to distinguish themselves in latest GOP debate

The Republican candidates race continues to take shape at the latest debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This debate is different in that some candidates failed to make the cut, while others, once very popular, were demoted to what's called the B-team or undercard debate.

But New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who has seen his support slip, reminded the audience who they really ought to be fighting against, the likely Democratic nominee.
