El Nino Threatens Millions of Lives in Africa

Some eleven million children are at risk from hunger, disease and
drought in east and southern Africa due to the strengthening El Nino
weather phenomenon. With intense flooding in Somalia and extreme
drought in Ethiopia, The United Nations Children's Charity or UNICEF
says children's lives are at risk and it's time for world leaders to
act.
