Talks on Syria to unite countries backing rival forces
International talks on Syria underway in Vienna, the Austrian capital, for the first time include Iran, which, along with Russia, backs the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. On the second day the participants will meet in an extended format to discuss a political transition and possible solutions to the four-year-long civil conflict in Syria. While talks are unlikely to likely to find an immediate solution, the US Secretary of State John Kerry called them "the most promising opportunity for a political opening we have seen." Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.
