Boko Haram atrocities uncovered by West African soldiers

INTRO: Soldiers from Chad and Niger have found the bodies of dozens of victims of Boko Haram strewn across rural areas in north eastern Nigeria. At least 70 people were found under a bridge in the town of Darmasat. Iran Nuclear Talks To Resume in Switzerland

Talks over Iran's nuclear program are set to resume in Switzerland on Wednesday, with a deadline of March 31st approaching. US and Iranian negotiators say they are still aiming to produce a framework agreement by that date, but big gaps remained between the two sides when talks broke last week.

Election 2016 to launch with Ted Cruz announcement

The 2016 race to become the next president of the United States will officially kick off with the expected announcement by US Senator Ted Cruz that he's running for the Republican nomination

UK MEDICAL PERSONNEL THOUGHT TO BE IN ISLAMIC STATE SYRIA REGION

Nine British medical personnel are thought to have traveled to work in Islamic State-held areas of Syria.


They'd been studying medicine together in Sudan and relatives have traveled to Turkey to try and encourage them to leave Syria.

Afghan President In US For Talks With Obama

 
US President Barack Obama is hosting his Afghan counterpart this week, as Washington considers whether to cut the number of American troops in Afghanistan to five and a half thousand by the end of this year.

The White House says that as well as that troop drawdown, Mr. Obama and President Ashraf Ghani are also discussing issues including security and economic development.

WHITE HOUSE APPEALS TO IRAN FOR RELEASE OF US CITIZENS

US President Barack Obama has called on Iran to release three US citizens detained in the country, and help find one who has been missing for over eight years.

The message comes shortly after the White House appealed directly to the Iranian people to support ongoing nuclear negotiations between Iran and the West.

WH expects deal on Iran Nuclear talks by end of March


White House spokesman Josh Earnest won't predict how close the U.S. may be to a possible deal in the Iran nuclear negotiations.

U.S.-led talks are aimed at getting Iran to back away from its atomic program with Tehran aiming to bring an end to US-led international sanctions.  
 
On Friday The US president delivered a message to Iran's people and leaders via youtube saying the coming weeks will be 'critical' for a peaceful resolution.

Earnest says the time has come for negotiations to deliver an agreement.

Elderly couple forced to hand back over 200 Pablo Picasso works

Top Gear présenter tells audience he was 'sacked' by BBC

Video footage of Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has emerged showing him telling an audience at a charity event in London that he had been 'sacked' by the BBC.

Obama urges Iranian people to lobby for nuclear deal

President Obama has reached out directly to the people of Iran, in a bid to lobby support for a comprehensive nuclear deal.


In a video message to mark the start of the Nowruz holiday marking Persian New Year, he calls the nuclear talks "the best opportunity in decades" to improve relations between the US and Iran.

UKIP IN EXPENSES SCANDAL

Britain's anti-EU, anti-immigration party UKIP has been plunged into a new scandal over expenses.

UKIP MEP and general election candidate Janice Atkinson has been suspended over 'allegations of a serious financial nature'.

An investigation by the Sun newspaper appears to show her chief of staff asking a restaurant manager to increase the amount on a bill so it can be claimed back on expenses.
