Websites hold symbolic "slowdown" in net neutrality protest

Dozens of websites including Netflix, Twitter and Reddit are showing their support for net neutrality with a symbolic "slowdown."

Concerns are mounting that proposed new regulations in the United States could mean broadband providers demanding extra fees for fast internet.

Joan Rivers surprise biopsy cut air supply, source claims

It has been claimed that an unplanned medical procedure may have
contributed to the death of legendary American comedian Joan Rivers.

According to a New York newspaper a doctor traveling with Rivers
performed an unplanned biopsy on her as she visited a clinic for a
routine surgical procedure.

Pistorius to face judge for murder trial verdict

Ferrari chairman to step down

Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced he is to step down on Wednesday - to be replaced by Sergio Marchionne, CEO of parent company FIFA.
Di Montezemolo has been at the helm for 23 years.

WESTMINSTER LEADERS CAMPAIGN AGAINST SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE

The leaders of Britain's three main political parties are all in Scotland campaigning against independence ahead of next week's referendum.

Prime Minister David Cameron, his deputy Nick Clegg, and Labour Party leader Ed Miliband all want to keep the United Kingdom together.

But Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond says their visits to Scotland are more likely to boost his case for independence.

Scotland votes on the 18th September on whether to become an independent country.

Chemical waste plant explodes in Germany

Leaders of the UK’s three main parties are traveling to Scotland to campaign against Scottish independence, with just eight days to go before Scotland votes in referendum.

British Prime Minister David Cameron, his deputy Nick Clegg, and opposition leader Ed Miliband are all in Scotland after recent polls suggested that the Yes and No camps are evenly divided.

This week the British government unveiled a package of measures along with a timetable to devolve further powers to the Scottish parliament, if voters say no to independence.

US airstrikes continue ahead of Pres. Obama's speech
