STARMER 'GETTING ON WITH THE JOB' AMID LEADERSHIP PRESSURE

Keir Starmer's allies say he's determined to fight on, even as dozens of Labour Party MPs call on him to step aside.

It's also reported several Labour cabinet ministers have suggested to the UK Prime Minister that he should set out a timetable for his departure.

It follows disappointing local election results for Keir Starmer's Labour Party last week, and a series of government mis-steps and controversies.
