President Putin said the successful test of the advanced “Sarmat” intercontinental ballistic missile (designated “Satan II” in NATO’s classification) will strengthen Russia's security for years to come. The Kremlin claimed the nuclear-capable weapon can penetrate any existing and perspective missile defense systems and is more powerful than Western analogues. The announcement came on the eve of US President Trump's visit to China, amid Washington's attempts to broker a peace deal between Moscow and Kyiv. Daria Bondarchuk reports from the Russian capital.
