The French president will chair a G7 leaders' meeting on Wednesday to discuss the economic impacts of the Iran war.
Emmanuel Macron will be joined by the other heads of state and government for a videocall as the US military says it has "eliminated" 16 Iranian mine-laying ships, Israel presses on with its bombing campaign in Lebanon, and Iran continues strikes across the region.
