India to make Rafale jets with France as defence ties expand

India and France plan to co-produce Rafale fighter jets, according to French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron, during his visit to India this week, reportedly described India's plan to purchase the additional military planes as a "step forward" in defence ties between the two countries.
