Michael Bloomberg steps in to help cover the US' contributions to the UN climate fund

In light of the news this week of the United States' withdrawal from
the United Nations backed Paris Climate agreement,
former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has stepped in to help cover
the financial losses that may occur.
On Thursday Bloomberg's philanthropy arm announced it will provide the
funding to help cover the U.S' contribution, filling a gap left by
President Donald Trump.
