Islamabad and Dhaka have held talks to discuss military and security cooperation.
This comes amid a thaw in bilateral ties following former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina's ouster last year.
Bangladesh won independence from Pakistan after a war in 1971 and had previously been closely aligned with Islamabad's neighbour and rival, India.
