Biden commutes more sentences in final act in office

US President Joe Biden is commuting the sentences of nearly 2,500 inmates convicted of non-violent drug offences. 


It's one of his last major moves of his term, just days before leaving the White House — and it means he's now issued more pardons or commutations than any of his Oval Office predecessors.
