Antonio Guterres calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon

United Nations humanitarians in Lebanon have described how challenging
it has become to reach some 1.2 million people who have fled heavy
Israeli bombardment and evacuation orders.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres
said the conflict in the Middle East is getting worse by the hour and
his warnings about the horrific impacts of escalation are being
ignored.
The Secretary General has called for an immediate ceasefire both in
Gaza and Lebanon.
