Talks between the Presidents of Russia and Palestine took place at Vladimir Putin's residence outside the capital. Putin said that Moscow is watching the events in Palestine with "great pain and concern" and reiterated the need to create a full-fledged Palestinian state. Mahmoud Abbas called Russia "one of Palestine's dearest friends" and claimed the UN had failed to resolve the Palestinian issue due to US pressure. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.
