On International Nelson Mandela Day, the United Nations Secretary
General says combating poverty and inequality is everyone's duty.
The day, sanctioned by the UN, is celebrated annually on July 18th and
people around the world are urged to dedicate 67 minutes to
volunteerism or random acts of kindness.
67 stands for the 67 years Mandela devoted to serving the public in
the struggle against South Africa's apartheid and for racial equality.
Antonio Guterres says the world is unequal and divided and hunger and
poverty is rife.
He's urged everyone around to do something good today...
