Investigations are underway into the possible motive behind the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump, who was shot and narrowly escaped death at a rally in the state of Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Alive and defiant, he's now on the brink of accepting his party's nomination at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, as he vies for the Oval Office again amid this increasingly fraught and volatile Presidential campaign.
