A top European Union official criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for launching a Ukraine "peace mission" without EU backing. The mission included talks with Donald Trump and leaders from Russia and China. In a recent letter, Orbán informed leaders of the 27-nation bloc that Trump is prepared to mediate peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict immediately if elected.
