Biden says Trump bull's-eye remark "a mistake"

US President Joe Biden has said it was "a mistake" to use the word
"bull's-eye" following criticism his language led to the attempted
assassination of Donald Trump.

Some Republicans have blamed rhetoric used by Biden and other
Democrats for being the reason behind the attack.

In an interview recorded by NBC at the White House on Monday, Biden defended
his remarks, while highlighting Trump's previous inflammatory
comments.
