17 cities across Italy under red warnings as heatwave drags on

Almost 20 cities across Italy are under red heat warnings today (FRIDAY), as an intense heatwave across southern Europe drags on.

The Acropolis in Athens was closed to tourists earlier this week as temperatures soared in the Greek capital.
