UK'S LABOUR SETS OUT MANIFESTO

Britain's opposition Labour Party is setting out its election manifesto, which it says is focused on economic growth.

Labour's promising a state-owned energy firm, hiring of more teachers, and ruling out 'surprises' on taxation.

The Conservatives claim Labour's spending pledges would require tax hikes.

Labour's National Campaign Coordinator, Pat McFadden, is dismissing suggestions there would have to be big public spending cuts if the party wins power on July 4th.
