Scorching Temperatures Across US Midwest and Northeast Prompt Warnings

Dangerously hot temperatures are expected across the Midwest and Northeast in the United States this week.

The US National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather warning for parts of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

Meteorologists say extreme temperatures are beginning earlier and earlier every year.
