MACRON CALLS FRENCH ELECTION

Emmanuel Macron has called a snap election in France in response to a victory for the right in European polls.

Marine Le Pen's National Rally party is on course to win around a third of the vote in European Parliament elections.

President Macron's dissolved Parliament and called national elections for 30th June and 7th July, as Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
