The UK says a technical issue which caused huge delays at passport e-gates at airports has now been resolved.
Long queues started forming on Tuesday night local time when the machines which rely on facial recognition stopped working.
Airports including Heathrow, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Manchester were impacted.
Officials say there is no sign of 'malicious' activity being behind the outage.
