Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez's Socialists win Catalonia elections in blow to pro-independence movement

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's Socialist party has won regional elections in Catalonia.

The results represent a blow for pro-independence parties such as "Together for Catalonia", which is led by exiled former regional president Carles Puigdemont.
