Reports: Spain, Ireland, Malta and Slovenia to recognise Palestinian statehood

Spain is reportedly preparing to recognise Palestinian statehood, along with the Republic of Ireland, Malta and Slovenia.

Only eight members of the European Union have taken that step, with Sweden the last to do so back in 2014.
