The US Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Tuesday about a federal law used to charge more than 300 people who attacked the US Capitol on January 6th 2021.
The court's decision could have ramifications for Donald Trump, who has been charged with the same offence.
The former President has pleaded not guilty, calling the charges politically motivated.
