UK PM UNDER PRESSURE OVER ARMS SALES TO ISRAEL

Pressure is growing on UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to halt arms sales to Israel after the deaths of seven aid workers in Gaza.

More than 600 lawyers have warned the British government it's at risk of breaking international law itself by supplying Israel with arms.

Rishi Sunak insists there is a 'very careful' arms licensing regime in place.

And former Conservative armed forces minister Lord Robathan says the UK should continue to support Israel's aim of defeating Hamas.
