RWANDA BILL PASSES UK PARLIAMENT

The UK government's Rwanda migration legislation has passed Parliament after a lengthy standoff.

The controversial bill to send some asylum seekers to Rwanda should now become law within days.

Home office minister Lord Sharpe says the legislation will act as a deterrent to illegal immigration.
