India's food safety regulator will conduct quality checks on products of popular Indian spice brands MDH and Everest after Hong Kong and Singapore red-flagged a cancer-causing ingredient in certain products of these brands.
Earlier this month, Hong Kong banned the sale of some of its products while Singapore recalled some products.
