Amid elections, Indian PM's Muslim remarks spark accusation of hate speech

As elections in India begin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been accused of making Islamophobic comments during a rally, triggering widespread anger from Muslims and members of the opposition.

Mr Modi said the opposition Congress if voted back to power would distribute citizens' wealth among 'infiltrators' and 'those who have more children," in reference to Muslims in India.
