Judge rules Trump can appeal Fani Willis ruling

A Georgia judge has cleared the way for Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump to appeal a ruling that allowed the lead prosecutor in the Georgia election subversion case to remain in the job.

Fulton County Superior Court judge Scott McAfee has ruled that the former president can ask a state appeals court to consider whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified over her romantic relationship with a special prosecutor she hired.
