The United States has launched fresh strikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The US military destroyed two anti-ship missiles that were aimed at the Red Sea and were preparing to launch, according to American Central Command.
The strikes, on Wednesday morning, are the latest on the Iran-backed militants which have been attacking commercial ships in the region.

BACK ANNO: Meanwhile, the US also carried out what it calls "proportionate" strikes on three facilities used by another Iran-backed militant group in Iraq. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin says this was in "direct response" to attacks against US and coalition allies in Iraq and Syria.
