Kremlin pledges to deepen cooperation with North Korea, including in "sensitive" areas

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with North Korea's Foreign Minister Choi Song Hui who is on an official trip to Russia. The visit comes amid speculations that Moscow and Pyongyang are discussing a new round of North Korean weapons supplies to Russia. Russia has stepped up ties with North Korea since the beginning of its war with Ukraine nearly two years ago. The relations are a source of concern to the international community, dozens of countries have condemned Russia's use of North Korean-made ballistic missiles against targets in Ukraine.
