Kenneth Smith executed in Alabama with nitrogen gas

An Alabama inmate was executed with nitrogen gas on Thursday.
This was the first time this method was used and the US' have come
under fire from the international community over this capital
punishment method
calling this method cruel and experimental.
Kenneth Smith was put to death for his role in a 1988 murder for hire.
