ICJ orders Israel to "take all measures" to prevent genocide in Gaza

The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to "take all measures within its power" to prevent potential acts of genocide in Gaza.

But the ICJ stopped short of calling for an immediate ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

This initial ruling comes after South Africa accused Israel of committing genocide, which the Israeli government denies.
