US lawmaker George Santos could be thrown out of Congress after being hit by an expulsion resolution by a committee investigating his conduct.
It comes as a report by that House of Representatives ethics committee details "substantial evidence" showing the first-term New York congressman "violated federal criminal laws."
Santos — a self-confessed "terrible liar" who has in the past admitted to making up details about his upbringing and education — says he won't be seeking a second term in light of the probe.
