The stage is set in San Francisco later today for a high-stakes face-to-face meeting between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
It's been almost a year since the two men last met and tensions are running high over a variety of issues including the Israeli assault on Gaza, the Russian war on Ukraine, and China's future plans for Taiwan.
