Millions of British women will soon have access to the contraceptive pill for free, without having to visit a GP first.
The Health Secretary is calling it a "historic achievement."
Instead of requiring an appointment with a doctor, high-street pharmacists will be able to talk through the benefits and side-effects of the medication and write repeat prescriptions.
