Wildfires cause unhealthy air conditions across much of U.S.

Officials in New York warn that the air quality is unhealthy and are
urging residents to remain indoors when possible.

The city's air quality on Tuesday briefly ranked as the worst in the
world as smoke from Canada's wildfires travels south into the U.S.
