A white man accused of killing a homeless black man on the New York subway has been indicted by a grand jury.
Last month Daniel Penny was charged with manslaughter for putting street artist Jordan Neely in a fatal chokehold.
Penny, a former US Marine, says he was trying to protect himself and other passengers, and did not intend to kill Neely.
Sally Patterson reports.
