US and Indian leaders cement ties at White House

US President Joe Biden has hailed his country's ties with India as the
defining relationship of the 21st century during a State Visit from
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The two countries announced multi billion dollar deals on defence and
technology in the shadow of accusations of democratic backsliding in
India under Mr Modi's leadership.
